The Edge Tygervalley

THE EDGE - This striking building consist of four stories of offices located over three stories of under-cover parking. The seperation of the functions visually holds to the modernist precept that form should follow function.

THE LATTICE OVER THE PARKING AREA - has been created using fibre cement boards screwed onto a steel frame. What is normally an ugly part of the building has been transformed in to a work of art, and contrasts with the shiny glass facade above. THE FOCAL POINT of the building is the pointed area in the corner of the wedge-shaped plot, that has been celebrated by placeing a glazed corner office on top of a single very tall column.
